Legal
Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of IP Raccoon: your account, the API, the Datasets, and everything you buy from us. They apply alongside our Privacy & Legal Notice, which covers the website itself.
Last updated 2026-09-18 · Questions: support@ipraccoon.com
1. About these Terms
1.1 Who we are
IP Raccoon is operated by OPTICKS SECURITY, S.L., a Spanish limited company with tax ID (NIF) B-67224550 (“we”, “us”, “our”). Our registered office and commercial registry details are set out in our Privacy & Legal Notice.
1.2 Accepting these Terms
These Terms apply from the moment you create an account. By creating an account or using the Services, you accept them. If you do so on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it, and “you” then means that organisation.
1.3 How these Terms relate to the Privacy & Legal Notice
The Privacy & Legal Notice governs the website and how we handle personal data; it is not repeated here. If the two documents conflict on anything specific to the paid Services (such as billing, credits or availability), these Terms prevail.
1.4 Definitions
In these Terms:
- “You” and “your” mean the holder of the account these Terms apply to.
- “Consumer” means an individual acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
- “API” means our REST API for querying the risk associated with an IP address.
- “API Credit” means a unit of prepaid balance that is drawn down when you make API queries, at the rate set out in Section 5.3.
- “Results” means everything the API returns for a query: the IP Risk Data, together with any Complementary Data returned alongside it.
- “IP Risk Data” means the risk scores, classifications and other risk information in the Results and in the Datasets. It does not include Complementary Data.
- “Complementary Data” means descriptive information about an IP address that is not a risk assessment, such as geolocation and network information (for example ISP and ASN).
- “Dataset” means a downloadable collection of IP Risk Data that we offer as a paid add-on.
- “Dataset Subscription” means your paid subscription to a single Dataset, held under your Account Subscription (Section 6.1).
- “Account Subscription” means the single, free-of-charge subscription on your account that groups your Dataset Subscriptions under one billing term.
- “Term” means the Initial Term and each Renewal Term of your Account Subscription (Sections 6.1 and 6.5).
- “Service Credits” means the compensation for missed uptime described in Section 11. Service Credits are not API Credits.
- “Services” means the API, the dashboard and the Datasets.
2. Your account
2.1 Creating an account
You can register with an email address and password, or through a supported third-party sign-in provider (currently Google; we may add others). The details you give us must be accurate and kept up to date, and you must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
2.2 Keeping your account secure
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and API keys confidential, and for everything done through your account or with your API keys, whether or not you authorised it. Tell us promptly at support@ipraccoon.com if you believe they have been compromised. If you sign in through a third-party provider, you are also responsible for securing that account.
2.3 API keys
API keys authenticate your requests and draw down your API Credit balance. Treat them as secrets: do not share or publish them, or embed them where others can extract them. We may rotate or revoke a key if we reasonably believe it has been compromised or misused, and will tell you when we do.
3. What you're buying
3.1 API Credits
API Credits are prepaid balance for querying the API. Each purchase, including each automatic purchase under Section 5.6, is a separate one-time charge, not a subscription. Credits you buy with money never expire. Section 5 explains how your balance works.
3.2 Dataset Subscriptions
While a Dataset Subscription is active, you can download that Dataset as a file in the formats we offer and receive its updates. Each Dataset is priced separately and can be cancelled on its own. Section 6 explains terms, renewal and cancellation.
3.3 Dashboard lookup tool
As a complimentary feature, the dashboard may let you look up individual IP addresses manually and view the results. The tool is not part of what you pay for with API Credits or Dataset Subscriptions. We currently offer it free of charge, subject to rate limits, and a maximum daily quota. We may change, limit, start charging for or withdraw it at any time. If we start charging for it, we will tell you before any lookup costs you anything.
Information shown by the tool counts as Results under these Terms. Sections 8, 9 and 13 therefore apply to it, including the Complementary Data conditions in Section 8.5.
3.4 Prices and discounts
Our current prices and discounts are shown on our website and at checkout. At the time of writing, volume discounts apply automatically to larger API Credit purchases, subscribing to the full set of Datasets earns a bundle discount, and yearly billing earns a further discount. We may change prices and discounts for future purchases at any time. Changes that affect something you have already bought are governed by Sections 5.3 and 6.6.
3.5 Promotions and referrals
From time to time we may run promotions, such as referral rewards, discount codes or time-limited offers (for example on Black Friday). A promotion may be limited to certain customers, purchases or periods. Its specific conditions, such as who is eligible, how long it lasts and whether it combines with other discounts, are shown with the offer, and they prevail over these Terms for that promotion only. Unless the offer says otherwise:
- promotions cannot be combined with other discounts, exchanged for cash or transferred;
- a promotional price applies only to purchases made during the promotion, and does not entitle you to a refund or price adjustment on earlier purchases;
- for Dataset Subscriptions, a promotional price applies only to the Terms stated in the offer. After that, renewals are charged at the regular price. This is not a price change under Section 6.6, but we will remind you by email before your first renewal at the regular price; and
- promotional and referral rewards given as API Credits may have an expiry date (Section 5.4).
We may change or end a promotion at any time without affecting rewards already earned. We may withdraw a discount or reward obtained through misuse, such as self-referrals, multiple accounts or false information.
4. Prices, taxes and payment
4.1 Currency
Prices are quoted, and checkouts charged, in one of our supported currencies (at the time of writing, euros and US dollars). We do not convert between currencies. Section 5.2 explains currency for API Credits, and Section 6.3 for Dataset Subscriptions.
4.2 Taxes
Prices on our website may be shown with or without VAT and other applicable taxes. Before you pay, checkout always shows the taxes that apply and the final total. If you are a Consumer, the total you are shown always includes VAT.
If you are a business customer in the EU outside Spain and give us a valid VAT number, the reverse-charge mechanism may apply, and you are responsible for accounting for VAT in your country.
4.3 How payment works
Checkout and billing are handled by Chargebee, our billing provider, and its payment gateway partners (as of this writing, Stripe), through a hosted checkout page. We never see or store your full card details. Nothing is charged, and no API Credits or Dataset Subscriptions are added, until checkout completes. An abandoned checkout costs you nothing.
4.4 Managing your billing
Invoices, payment methods and changes to your Dataset Subscriptions are self-service, from the billing portal linked in your account settings. The only exception is changing the billing frequency or currency of an active Dataset Subscription, which requires contacting support (Section 6.3).
4.5 Failed payments and chargebacks
If a renewal payment for your Dataset Subscriptions fails, we will notify you and retry the payment for up to 14 days. If it still fails, we may suspend the affected Dataset Subscriptions, and cancel them if the amount remains unpaid after 30 days.
If an auto-recharge payment fails, we will not retry it. We will notify you and temporarily disable auto-recharge until you complete a manual API Credit purchase successfully, which confirms that your payment method is valid once again. When this is completed, auto-recharge will become active again unless it is turned off manually. In the meantime, your queries continue to draw on any remaining balance.
If you dispute a valid charge with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us, we may suspend your account while the dispute is resolved. This does not affect your right to dispute a charge you believe is wrong.
5. API Credits
5.1 Your balance
Your API Credit balance does not reset monthly. It is drawn down each time you query the API, by the number of credits that query costs.
5.2 Currency
You can choose the currency of each API Credit purchase freely from those we support, independently of earlier purchases.
5.3 What a query costs
A query's cost in API Credits depends on what it returns. Currently, a basic risk lookup costs 1 credit, and a lookup that also returns Complementary Data costs 1.5 credits. If Complementary Data is discontinued (Section 8.5), queries are charged at the basic rate. We may change these rates, but we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email and on the dashboard before a change that makes queries cost more credits takes effect.
5.4 Expiry and order of use
API Credits purchased with money never expire. API Credits you receive in other ways, such as starter credits, promotions, compensation or goodwill credits from support, may have an expiry date, which we will show on your dashboard when they are added. Your balance is drawn down in this order: first credits with an expiry date, soonest-expiring first; then all other credits, in the order they were added.
5.5 Starter credits
Every new account receives a one-time grant of free API Credits, shown on your dashboard. This is not a monthly allowance and does not renew. Starter credits do not expire. If we introduce an expiry date for starter credits in the future, or change its amount, it will apply only to accounts created after the change.
5.6 Auto-recharge
If you turn on auto-recharge, you authorise us to buy API Credits on your behalf, charging your saved payment method, whenever your balance falls below the threshold you set. Each purchase is for the amount you set, and if a limit is configured, total auto-recharge purchases in a calendar month will not exceed the monthly limit you set. You can change the threshold, the amount or the monthly limit, or turn auto-recharge off, at any time from your account settings. Changes apply to purchases not yet made. Section 7.1 explains how the right of withdrawal applies to automatic purchases.
Auto-recharge purchases are charged in the currency of your most recent manual API Credit purchase, and unless otherwise stated, they will apply the same prices and conditions as manual purchases. You will need to have purchased API Credits manually at least once in order to enable auto-recharge.
6. Dataset Subscriptions
6.1 How Dataset Subscriptions are structured
All your Dataset Subscriptions sit under a single umbrella Account Subscription. The Account Subscription is free: it exists only to give your Datasets one shared billing term and consolidate the payments, so you pay only for the Datasets you add.
Completing checkout for your first Dataset starts the Account Subscription for an initial period of one month or one year, depending on the billing frequency you choose (the “Initial Term”). For example, a one-month Initial Term that starts on 10 March 12:00:00 runs until 10 April 11:59:59. If the matching day does not exist in the following month, the Term ends on the last day of that month.
6.2 One shared billing cycle
All your Datasets share the same billing frequency and renew together. We do not bill one Dataset monthly and another yearly. The bundle discount (Section 3.4) applies only while you hold every Dataset in the set at the time of the renewal or initial subscription. If you unsubscribe from one dataset, the discount no longer applies from your next renewal.
6.3 Billing frequency and currency
When you take out your first Dataset Subscription, you choose a billing frequency (monthly or yearly) and a currency. Both then apply to every Dataset you add and every renewal. To change either, contact support. Any change takes effect from your next renewal.
6.4 Adding a Dataset
Adding a Dataset takes effect immediately. If your Account Subscription is already running, the new Dataset joins the current Term. It is charged only for the rest of that Term, prorated from the day you add it, and renews with your other Datasets from then on. The prorated amount is shown at checkout before you confirm.
6.5 Automatic renewal
Unless you cancel before the current Term ends, your Dataset Subscriptions renew automatically for another Term of the same length (a “Renewal Term”), and keep renewing until you cancel. We will charge your saved payment method at the start of each Renewal Term.
6.6 Price changes on renewal
Each renewal is charged at the price in effect when it renews. If the price of any of your Datasets increases, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before the renewal it first applies to, so you can cancel beforehand. A price change never applies to a Term you have already paid for.
6.7 Cancelling
You can cancel one Dataset Subscription, or all of them, at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the Term you have already paid for. It stops the next renewal, but you keep access until the Term ends. Except as set out in Section 7, a Term that has started is not refunded, prorated or credited back. When no Dataset Subscription remains, the Account Subscription ends.
7. Right of withdrawal and refunds
7.1 Consumers' right of withdrawal
If you are a Consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of completing checkout, without giving a reason, and receive a full refund, as long as you have not started using what you bought. To withdraw, email support@ipraccoon.com with a clear statement of your decision within that period. We will refund the payment within 14 days of receiving it, using the same payment method.
Because the Services are available immediately, you acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once you start using what you bought, which means:
- for a Dataset Subscription, you lose the right of withdrawal once one Dataset file is downloaded; and
- for API Credits, you lose it once you use any amount of the purchased credits, regardless of whether it was a manual purchase or an automatic auto-recharge purchase.
7.2 General rule
Except as set out in Section 7.1 or where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable. In particular:
- cancelling a Dataset Subscription does not refund, prorate or credit back a Term that has started (Section 6.7); and
- unused API Credits are not refunded, including when you close your account.
We may make exceptions at our discretion. If you think a charge is wrong, contact support (Section 22) and we will look into it.
8. Your licence and the data you obtain
8.1 Licence to use the Services
While your account is in good standing, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to access the API and, for each Dataset you subscribe to, to download that Dataset, in each case for your own purposes and subject to these Terms. This licence ends when your account is closed or terminated.
8.2 Licence to keep the data you obtain
IP Risk Data in the Results the API returns, and the Datasets you download, remain our property (Section 14.1). However, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to keep and use them for your own purposes, including in your own systems, products and decisions, both during and after your subscription or account. This licence continues after Section 8.1 ends, subject to Sections 9.2 and 18.3. Complementary Data is not covered by this licence; Section 8.5 governs it.
“For your own purposes” includes using IP Risk Data and Datasets inside products and services you offer to others, as long as you do not expose them as data in their own right (Section 9.2).
8.3 Datasets: updates stop when you cancel
A Dataset is licensed, not sold. While its subscription is active, you can download it and receive its updates. After it ends, you keep what you already downloaded and may continue using it under Section 8.2, but you stop receiving updates and cannot download it again unless you resubscribe.
8.4 What we keep
All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved to us (Section 14).
8.5 Complementary Data
Complementary Data comes from third-party licensors and is subject to conditions they impose on us and our customers. You may use Complementary Data only for your own internal purposes, and you must not:
- disclose, display, publish or distribute it to third parties, including showing an IP address together with its location or network information to your own customers or users;
- compile it into a database or other information resource, or use it to build a product or service offered to others;
- use it to identify or locate a specific individual, household or street address; or
- use it as a factor in deciding anyone's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, or a licence or benefit granted by a public authority.
You must stop using and delete Complementary Data used in association with the IP address that was used to retrieve it within 30 days of receiving it, and immediately when your account ends. On request, you will confirm in writing that you have done so.
We may change or discontinue Complementary Data, or change its source, where our licensors require it or our agreements with them change. If this affects a feature you pay for, we will give you as much notice as we reasonably can, and Section 5.3 sets out how queries are then charged.
9. Acceptable use
9.1 The basic rule
Use the Services lawfully and only in the ways these Terms allow. Section 8 sets out what you may do with the data you obtain; this section sets out what you may not do at all.
9.2 You must not
- resell, rent, sublicense or otherwise provide access to the API or the Services to a third party as a standalone offering;
- redistribute, resell or publish a Dataset or a substantial part of one, or make it available to third parties as a dataset in its own right, whether or not your subscription is still active;
- compile Results into a database or dataset that you redistribute, resell or publish, or use Results or Datasets to build a product or service that competes with IP Raccoon;
- circumvent, disable or interfere with API Credit metering, rate limits, authentication or any other usage or security control, including by scraping, or by splitting or automating queries to obtain data without paying for it;
- share your account credentials or API keys, or let anyone other than your own employees and contractors acting on your behalf use your access;
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive our sources, methods or scoring, except to the extent the law does not allow this restriction;
- use the Services to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or facilitate surveillance, stalking, harassment or unlawful discrimination against any person;
- upload malware to, probe, overload or attack the Services, or otherwise use them in a way that harms us or other users; or
- name IP Raccoon as the source of your data in a way that implies we endorse, or are responsible for, how you use it.
9.3 Rate limits and fair use
The API is subject to reasonable rate limits, depending on each individual endpoint. We may throttle or queue requests to protect the platform and other users, and we will try to do so without disrupting normal use.
10. Data protection
10.1 Our Privacy & Legal Notice
How we handle personal data about you, as a customer, is described in the Privacy & Legal Notice.
10.2 What the Services process
The Datasets contain subnet-level risk information and are not designed to contain personal data. When you query the API, you submit an IP address and we return a Result. We do not store queried IP addresses in our risk databases or use them to build or enrich our data. They may appear in our technical request logs, which are accessible only to our authorised technical staff, are used only for security, troubleshooting, usage metering and billing, and are deleted automatically after 30 days.
10.3 Your responsibilities and our data-processing agreement
IP addresses can be personal data. Depending on how you collect, use and store them and the Results, data-protection law may apply to you, and you are responsible for complying with it, including having a lawful basis. Where we process personal data on your behalf when answering your queries, we act as your processor. If you need a data-processing agreement with us, for example because the GDPR applies to your use, contact support@ipraccoon.com and we will sign one with you.
11. Availability, uptime and Service Credits
11.1 Availability
We work to keep the Services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the Services temporarily for technical, security or maintenance reasons, without prior notice where the situation demands it. Such a suspension gives you no right to compensation beyond Service Credits earned under this Section 11.
11.2 Uptime commitment
“Uptime” is the percentage of minutes in a calendar month during which the Services are available at the gateway between the public internet and our hosting provider's network, excluding the events in Section 11.3. We use reasonable endeavours to keep Uptime at 99.9% or above each calendar month. We measure it with external monitoring and publish the measurements at https://status.ipraccoon.com/ (or an equivalent service if we move it). Those measurements are the basis for calculating Service Credits.
11.3 What doesn't count as downtime
Unavailability caused by the following is excluded from the Uptime calculation:
- events beyond our reasonable control (Section 21.6);
- your own systems, network or internet connection, or your breach of these Terms; and
- suspension of your account under Section 18.2.
11.4 Service Credits
If Uptime in a calendar month falls below 99.9%, you earn Service Credits as follows:
| Uptime in the calendar month | Service Credits (% of your Subscription Fee) |
|---|---|
| Below 99.9% but at least 98% | 10% |
| Below 98% but at least 96% | 20% |
| Below 96% but at least 90% | 30% |
| Below 90% | 100% |
Your “Subscription Fee” for a calendar month is the fees for your active Dataset Subscriptions attributable to that month. For Datasets billed yearly, that is one twelfth of the annual fee.
API Credit purchases are not part of the Subscription Fee, so if you had no active Dataset Subscription during the month, no Service Credits accrue. We may, at our discretion, also compensate downtime with API Credits, which may carry an expiry date (Section 5.4).
11.5 Claiming and using Service Credits
To claim Service Credits for a month, email support@ipraccoon.com within 30 days of the end of that month. Service Credits are applied to your future Dataset Subscription fees. They cannot be exchanged for cash, refunds or API Credits, and they lapse if you have no active Dataset Subscription left to apply them to.
To the fullest extent the law allows, and without affecting any rights you have as a Consumer, Service Credits are your sole and exclusive remedy for missing the Uptime commitment.
12. Support
Support is available at support@ipraccoon.com on a best-effort basis during our normal business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 Spanish peninsular time, excluding public holidays in Barcelona). Unless we have agreed otherwise with you in writing, we do not commit to any particular response or resolution time.
13. IP Risk Data is advisory
13.1 What IP Risk Data is
IP Risk Data consists of our automated assessments, based on the intelligence sources available to us. They are probabilistic indicators. They are not statements of fact about any person, organisation or device, and not legal, security or compliance advice.
13.2 No guarantee of accuracy
The accuracy of the API and of each Dataset depends on the intelligence sources behind them. We work to keep those sources current, but cannot guarantee that they are complete, accurate or error-free. An IP address's risk profile can change at any time, and a Result reflects our assessment at the moment of the query. Complementary Data comes from third-party sources and may likewise be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date.
13.3 Your decisions are your own
You are responsible for how you interpret and act on IP Risk Data. If you use it to make a decision with legal or similarly significant effects on an individual (for example blocking, denying a service to, or otherwise penalising a specific person), you should not rely on it as the sole basis. Where such decisions are automated, you are responsible for providing the human review and other safeguards the law requires.
14. Intellectual property
14.1 Our rights
We or our licensors own the Services, the API, our software, the IP Risk Data, the Complementary Data, our underlying databases and scoring methods, and the IP Raccoon name and marks. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any of them to you. The licences in Section 8 are the only rights you receive.
14.2 Your rights
You keep all rights in your own material, including the IP addresses you choose to query, your systems and your own data. We receive no rights in your material beyond what we need to provide the Services and what the Privacy & Legal Notice describes.
14.3 Feedback
If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them to improve the Services freely and without any obligation to you.
15. Warranties and disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Services, IP Risk Data and Complementary Data are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Consumers' statutory rights, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services, are unaffected (Section 20.2).
16. Limitation of liability
16.1 Excluded losses
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with the Services or these Terms, even if we were told the loss was possible.
16.2 Cap on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Services or these Terms, for all claims arising in any twelve-month period, will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the first claim, and (b) €100.
16.3 What we don't exclude
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any rights you have as a Consumer (Section 20.2).
17. Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, you will defend and indemnify us against any third-party claim, and any resulting loss, arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, IP Risk Data or Complementary Data, or your violation of the law or of another person's rights. This section does not apply to Consumers.
18. Suspension and termination
18.1 By you
You can stop using the Services at any time, cancel your Dataset Subscriptions (Section 6.7) and ask us to close your account. If you have an active Dataset Subscription, we will close your account at the end of the current Term, unless you ask us to close it immediately, in which case you give up the rest of that Term. Closing your account does not entitle you to a refund of paid Terms or unused API Credits, except as set out in Section 7.1.
18.2 By us
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms (in particular Section 9), if a payment remains unpaid under Section 4.5, or where we must for legal or security reasons. Where practical and lawful we will give you notice and a chance to fix the problem first; where the situation is serious, we may act immediately. We may also close accounts that have had no activity, no API Credit balance and no active Dataset Subscription for 24 months, after giving 30 days' notice by email.
18.3 Effect of termination
When your account ends, your access to the Services and the licence in Section 8.1 end. You must delete Complementary Data immediately (Section 8.5). IP Risk Data and Datasets you obtained remain yours to use under Section 8.2, with one exception: if we terminate your account because you breached item 1, 2 or 3 of Section 9.2, we may also end the licence in Section 8.2 and require you to delete the Datasets and Results you obtained and confirm in writing that you have done so. If we terminate because of your breach, paid Terms and unused API Credits are not refunded and are forfeited.
18.4 What survives
Any provisions that by their nature should continue survive the end of your account, including Sections 7.2, 8.2 to 8.5, 9.2 (items 2 and 3, for as long as you keep any Results or Datasets), 10.3, 13 to 17, 18.3, 18.4, 20 and 21.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Services change. The version in force is the one published on this page, dated at the top. For material changes, we will email you at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel your Dataset Subscriptions before the change applies to you and stop using the Services.
A change never applies retroactively. A Term or API Credit purchase you have already paid for stays under the Terms in force when you paid for it. Renewals and purchases after the change date are governed by the updated Terms.
20. Governing law and jurisdiction
20.1 Governing law and courts
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes arising from them are subject to the courts of Barcelona, and both parties waive any other jurisdiction to the extent the law allows.
20.2 Consumers
If you are a Consumer, nothing in these Terms removes the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence.
21. General
21.1 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign ours to an affiliate or to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, without reducing your rights.
21.2 Entire agreement and order of precedence
These Terms, the Privacy & Legal Notice and any data-processing agreement we sign with you form the entire agreement between us about the Services and replace any earlier understanding on the same subject. If we sign a separate written agreement with you, it prevails over these Terms to the extent they conflict.
21.3 Language
These Terms were written in English. We may provide translations, which may be produced automatically, to make them easier to read. The English version, available at https://ipraccoon.com/en/terms, is the original. If a translation differs from it or is unclear, the English version applies.
If you are a Consumer, this does not affect any right you have under the law of your country of residence, including the right to have unclear terms interpreted in your favour.
21.4 Severability and waiver
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. If we do not enforce a right on one occasion, we have not waived it.
21.5 Notices
We may give you notices by email to the address on your account or by posting them on the dashboard. Notices under Sections 5.3, 6.6, 18.2 and 19 are always sent by email. Formal notices to us go to support@ipraccoon.com or to our registered office as stated in our Privacy & Legal Notice.
21.6 Events beyond our control
We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of infrastructure or third-party providers, cyberattacks that could not reasonably have been prevented, natural disasters, or acts of government.
22. Contact
Questions about these Terms go to support@ipraccoon.com. For invoices, payment methods or cancelling a Dataset Subscription, the billing portal in your account settings is faster. To change the billing frequency or currency of your Dataset Subscriptions, contact support.
