Las mismas categorías de riesgo se leen de forma distinta según la decisión: una puja en milisegundos, una regla de checkout o un patrón detectado en los registros del mes pasado.
The DSP evaluates a bid request and needs to decide, in single-digit milliseconds, whether the impression is worth bidding on at all. IP is one of the few signals reliably present in the bid request before any bid is placed.
Using IP Raccoon files allow DSPs to get IP assessment without even requiring a single network call inside the bid process. The category breakdown matters here: a datacenter IP in a mobile app bid request is invalid traffic, while a residential proxy on a desktop web request is suspicious but not disqualifying. Buyers can set their own thresholds and rules per inventory type.
